Modern Slavery Policy
Policy Statement
Mouldex Ltd has a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery and is committed to preventing acts of slavery and human trafficking from occurring within both its business and supply chain. We expect all suppliers, contractors, and business partners to uphold the same high standards.
Our due diligence processes ensure compliance by:
- Educating employees on the Modern Slavery Act 2015, including definitions of slavery and human trafficking.
- Providing clear guidance to staff on how to report suspected cases of slavery or human trafficking.
- Regularly reviewing our Whistleblowing Policy to strengthen reporting mechanisms.
Preventing slavery and human trafficking in our business
- Mouldex Ltd conducts appropriate checks on all employees, recruitment agencies, and suppliers to verify who is working for or on our behalf.
- Every employee receives a written contract of employment and is paid in accordance with legal requirements. We ensure full compliance with employment laws regarding working hours, rest breaks, and holidays.
- All employees are required to read and sign this policy, confirming their understanding. Managers receive training to effectively implement and enforce this policy.
If you are one of our Suppliers
If you supply goods or services to Mouldex Ltd, you must:
- Assess your business and supply chains, confirming compliance with legal obligations related to modern slavery. This confirmation must be submitted to the Operations Director along with a copy of your anti-slavery policy.
- Take proactive measures to ensure that no slavery, forced labour, servitude, child labour, or human trafficking occurs within your business or supply chains.
- Understand that any breach of this policy, or evidence of slavery or human trafficking within your business or supply chains, may result in contract termination and legal action.
If you are an Employee or Worker providing services for us
- Employees and workers must immediately report any suspicions of modern slavery or human trafficking within our business or supply chain to the Operations Director.
- The Operations Director will investigate all reports and provide findings to the Leadership Team for appropriate action within a reasonable timeframe.
- No employee or worker will suffer detrimental treatment for reporting genuine concerns in good faith, even if the investigation concludes that no wrongdoing occurred. Employees who believe they have faced retaliation should inform the Operations Director and refer to the Grievance and Whistleblowing Policies.
Compliance and Monitoring
- Mouldex Ltd regularly communicates its zero-tolerance stance on modern slavery to suppliers, contractors, and employees at the outset of business relationships and through ongoing engagement.
- Compliance checks and audits may be conducted to ensure adherence to this policy.
- This policy will be reviewed annually to reflect any updates in legislation and best practices.
Mouldex Ltd remains committed to eradicating modern slavery and human trafficking from its operations and supply chains.
